    Paul Delvaux (Belgian, –) was a Surrealist painter, known for his depictions of female nudes. Born in Antheit in the province of Liège, Delvaux attended the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Brussles, studying architecture then painting under painter, muralist, and sculptor Constant Montald.
